5 of 5 Thick Grip Angled Swiss Bar August 3, 2020

I have several BWTG products in my home gym. They are all fantastic.  This bar is no different.  Dean and his guys put a lot of passion into their products and it shows.  Material is top notch as well as the welds.  This bar is not knurled, but the finish that is applied is aggressive and has a fantastic bite.  I love the thick grip.  The tick grip is great for all pressing movements. So much easier on the elbow joints. Something every lifter who has been banging it out for over 20 years will appreciate.  Last but not least all products are hand made in the USA!

5 of 5 Love this Swiss bar!!! November 19, 2015
Reviewer: JA from SoCal
It allows me to continue doing some form of bench press whenever an injury prohibits using the Oly bar. Just today an injury made itself known upon starting the 2nd part of an Oly bar BP session. With a warmup weight I felt pain & strain in the right lower bicep to armpit area. I felt it somewhat when unracking but moreso when entering and exiting the "hole" during a rep. So I pulled out the Swiss Bar, gripped the 3rd set of handles, and started testing my affected area through 20lbs increments. I noted that I felt no pain and strain during reps. I managed to climb well past my problem warmup weight on the Oly bar and achieved new rep PRs and even a new 1-rep Max PR! I was hella stoked knowing I didn't have a wasted bench press session.
Months ago I also couldn't use the Oly bar BP due to left elbow pain correlated with my hand gripping a straight and thin bar that may lend itself to not ideal ergonomics. Once again my Swiss Bar eliminated the pain and allowed me to get new PRs.

5 of 5 AWESOME Bar!!! June 19, 2014
Reviewer: Seth Nels from Lafayette , NY United States
This is an awesome bar! I got the angled version so I could have more variability w/ it and I'm glad I did. I have been doing all kinds of movements w/ this thing; skull crushers, curls, bench incline and flat and shoulders and it rocks. Built very well also. My only complaint is that it could be a little narrower in the grip area. I grab it and have 1.5-2 inch's of dead space which makes it a little wobbly. All in all a really good addition to my gym and I'm super glad I got it.

5 of 5 Perfect for veteran lifter March 27, 2014
Reviewer: william whitwell from Fortson, GA United States
I have been training for 30+ yrs and have slowly but surely developed easily irritated shoulders, The 2in handle football bar gives me the perfect angle for pressing without discomfort, like a dumbbell, but with the ability to use heavier weight without having to fight to get heavy dumbbells into position.
