5 of 5 Must have for shoulder pain June 6, 2021
Reviewer: James Flint from Haymarket, VA United States
This is a great bar and will be replacing my Rogue Ohio Bar for pressing movements. Been using is since it arrived a few weeks ago and I can bench press and shoulder press with no discomfort. The width on the grips is perfect. Bar is straight and true. Really awesome piece of equipment.

5 of 5 Excellent addition to equipment May 31, 2021
Reviewer: DRB from North Carolina
I was looking forward to receiving this bar to help with shoulder pain on overhead press work, but have also begun using it for rows, close-grip bench and skullcrushers. Nicely balanced, excellent quality and great grip from the powder coat. I ordered the clamps as recommended by BWTG, but it wasn’t necessary. They look bad-ass in a hard-core, industrial way, and work fine, but my Lock-Jaws also work perfectly fine.

4 of 5 Good but would consider alternatives if purchasing March 29, 2021
Reviewer: Taylor Gould from ATLANTA, GA United States
It's solid but I would consider alternatives if I were to make this purchase again, for two reason - 1) my bar is only 40 pounds, and I saw a couple of other reviewers mention the same, 2) rotating sleeves can be had on models that are only 10-15% more expensive. I had never used a bar like this before (just got it because I have nagging shoulder pain and thought I should try this), and so I wasn't really thinking about rotating vs. non-rotating sleeves when I made the purchase. I've started to get use to the non-rotating sleeves after a few workouts, but I'm sure rotating would be nice. The sleeves are also too small for any of my collars.

Shipping took 7 weeks from date of order. The website said 1-6 when I placed the order. I emailed a couple times just asking for any kind of status and never received a response. The barbell just showed up on my doorstep one day.

1 of 5 Multi Grip Press Bar - No Customer Service March 18, 2021
Reviewer: Sam H. from CA
I ordered the Multi Grip Press Bar but I received a box with what I think are platforms?  I have sent email and left voicemail but still no contact from Black Widow Training Gear.  I'm sure the equipment is great judging by the other reviews but the customer service has been non-existent up to this point.  Hopefully they will rectify the situation and I can update my review.

5 of 5 Perfect December 21, 2020
Reviewer: Lindsay Ford from Afton, NY United States
Very pleased with the pressing bar. Exceeded expectations.  Manufacturing and shipping was delayed due to Covid, but when I contacted them they immediately responded and answered my questions.

4 of 5 Multi grip press bar December 11, 2020
Reviewer: Dan K from MI United States
this is a heavy duty bad ass bar.  The knurl is aggressive enough for pulling heavy weight.   The angle of the handles is super friendly on shoulder joints which is great.

I only wanted to deduct half a star for lack of communication, i wanted to add collars to my order and never recieved a response.  I recieved my bar 5 weeks from the day i ordered it and it was well worth the wait.   If you're considering it just do it.

Reviewer: James Van bus kirk from Tilton, NH United States
Packaging was great kept the bar safe from shipping, have used this bar now in 3 of my work outs and it does relieve stress from my bad shoulder, this is the first bar I've bought from this company and it's great product, craftsmanship, quality, well worth the money, bar came in about 3 days earlier than I expected, will be placing more orders with black widow soon

4 of 5 Mixed feelings July 19, 2020
Reviewer: Jason McKinney from Palestine, TX United States
Concerning the bar itself the handle angle is ideal. I was trying to decide between this and the EliteFTS football bar. Went with the bwtg bar because the center gap was greater than the Elite bar. The football bar seemed more likely to get the bottom of the chin. However the football bar has rotating sleeves which would be a huge plus if the bwtg bar had them. I could feel some rocking on my wrists. Takes a little getting used to I guess but worth it for the way the shoulders feel during the movement. Shipping took FOREVER Lol. I called after a month had passed without notification of shipment. No answer to email or phone calls until charge was disputed. Finally shipped almost 5 weeks later. So if you do want the bar I can recommend the bar, just have some patience because everything is taking longer due to the pandemic. Oh and one more thing I forgot to mention is the bar only weighs 40.5 pounds. Curious to see what other peoples bar weighs.

5 of 5 This niche bar is incredible July 10, 2020
Reviewer: Gary Ko from Hillsborough, CA United States
I have a partially torn right rotator cuff that had scar tissue developed.  This specialty press bar allows me to use a neutral grip with a space for my head during overhead presses.  Waited 2.5 months for the bar and it’s worth the wait.  For the first time in around 3 years, I was able to press without discomfort and basically no compromises. No more have to choose discomfort with a straight bar, or leaning my head back to clear a multi grip bars. It’s awesome!
