Good Solid Made in the USA Bar January 19, 2022 Reviewer: Larry Thompson from Durango, CO United States   This welds, material and construction of this bar are outstanding and it is light years ahead of the 'Made in China' brands and worth the few extra dollars spent.  The design of the bar is compact (the width of handle) enough that it can be used for overhead work, rows, or hammer curls.  For benchpress it adds another dimension to my benching work-outs. It fits perfectly in my rack.  The only thing I did was smooth the textured finish, where the bar racks and the bar ends for sliding my competition bumper plates on and off a bit smoother, my competition bumpers were manufactured with very tight tolerances.  This took about ten minutes and a piece of 180 sandpaper.  My regular plates and bumpers have zero issues.  I didn't need to smooth the finish down, I am just anal about some things.  As well the textured finish provides a good solid grip.  Overall I give the bar 5/5 and would definitely purchase it again.  All my 2.0" collars work on it also. Job well done April 17, 2021 Reviewer: Jason from NC United States   Everything about this bar--from the design, welding, powder coating, & packaging--is very precise.  When they say they won't sacrifice quality for lead time, they mean it.  Also, this bar has by far the best powder coat I've ever felt; it's black as midnight and as rough as a good knurl.  I see no need to pay more for a similar product from another manufacturer. Solid bar June 19, 2020 Reviewer: Andrew Honeycutt from Yucaipa, CA United States   Solid bar. Powder coat could be a little better. It was flaming off in a couple spots and the grips could be about an inch wider in my opinion. I also was told by Dean He’d refund needs 10% and that never happened. Cambered Swiss Bar..... absolutely awesome February 12, 2018 Reviewer: Roberto Tijerina from Mission, TX United States   I must say that the bar far exceeded my expectations.  It is truly a work of art, and functionally, my bar is built like a tank.  I asked Dean to elongate my load sleeves by an inch and a half and he was all too happy to comply.  Thanks for that by the way.  I am beyond satisfied with every aspect of this purchase and look forward to buying from black widow again.  Everything is top notch.
