Hex bar May 15, 2016 Reviewer: ju park from alta loma, CA United States   If you are looking for heavy duty hex bar... this is it. However, if you are planning to use this to substitute deadlift... you might want to purchase the longer version so you can add more plate. I use Olympic bumper plate  (metal disk in the middle) so it's lot thinner than regular cheap rubber bumper plates. I can put 4x 45lbs each side and 1x 10lbs... that is enough for me. I use hex bar as my last workout routine after doing front squat and overhead squat so I am already dead tired by the time I get to my hex bar routine. If you are trying to do break you deadlift record.. invest on the longer version from the beginning. As for steel plates... I think you can put 5 to 6 45lbs each side. Remember, if you are using thick rubber bumper plates..... buy the other version. Was this review helpful to you?

Love from Gilroy, CA United States   Black Widow's trap bar is exactly as advertised--practical, simple, and well made.  I expect that it will last longer than I will, and am delighted that it is made in the US.  I would not hesitate to recommend Black Widow to anyone looking to outfit his or her gym. Full body burner! March 6, 2015 Reviewer: Arkadiy Dolgin from Lincoln, MA United States   I just got trap bar today. Communication and delivery were great as usual. Dean is very professional about that. I was debating with myself if I need a rackable version vs non-rackable one. I got non-rackable trap bar with long plates loadings. This is a winner! I am glad I made a right decision. It kills 2 birds with one stone. Another feature is the weight. It is about 30lb. My previous bar was 44lg and I though I am going to have a problems with that. But the reality is opposite. It is very easy to move around and long plates loads make it very useful with bumpers. The look as very cool and the handles are comfortable. It doesn't have a knurling and that would be only thing I would add to the bar. it is a great piece overall. Highly recommend! Ark. Was this review helpful to you?
