Nice compact squat bar February 19, 2022 Reviewer: Shana from Seattle, WA   I have a short ceiling in my home gym and like to store my barbells vertically, so I searched high and low for a short rackable squat bar. This one is perfect! The bar is nicely balanced in my shoulders, I don't even need to hold on to the handles when doing good mornings. The bar racks in my Titan t-2 rack. I am able to use my lockjaw collars on the sleeves without any issues. The powder coat is a bit rough, and likes to grab my clothes when I lean past the bar to grab weights from inside my rack, but that's not a big issue. Very happy, would buy again. Love this bar August 18, 2021 Reviewer: P Gari from San Diego   I’ve had the BWTG SSB for about 4 months now and absolutely love it. Bought it from someone who had it for 6 months before me. The powder coat is excellent and my bar still looks new. Use it weekly and it is a great way to add some volume on leg day. The cushions are perfectly placed and don’t show any signs of wear and tear. Highly recommend this bar if someone wants a quality SSB. Was this review helpful to you?

Sits great on the shoulders, it's comfortable, the handles are adjustable and it just feels right. Top notch quality and American made by a small business. Go get one! Great piece of equipment May 11, 2021 Reviewer: James C. from Oceanside, CA United States   I did a lot of research on different SSBs and ultimately decided on Black Widow.  I’m very satisfied with this specialty bar.  The padding is comfortable, it is about the same weight as a standard Olympic bar, and it is very well made.  Note that the bar has about 14” of plate loading space, which is about 2 inches less than an Olympic bar.  I lift with bumper plates, and I was able to get four 45 lb. plates on each side the bar without an issue.  But I may need to get some thinner plates in the future in order to go heavier than ~405.  I highly recommend the SSB from Black Widow, and I’ll continue to shop with this company in the future. Perfect April 15, 2021 Reviewer: KO from EVERGREEN, CO United States   As a guy turning 50 with accumulated mountain biking, skiing and other assorted other injuries, I'm not quite as limber as in my youth.  I made the switch to a safety squat bar on the recommendation of a friend. This bar certainly helps center the load, provides more stability and I'm getting deeper in my squats.  At 45 lbs, the bar is easy to move about my garage gym.  My high school aged kids love squatting with it too.  And as a plus, the powdered black bar just looks great.
