Must Have Bar May 27, 2014 Reviewer: Matt from NC   Great Bar! Relieves stress off the shoulder when benching and is a nice change of pace. Kills your triceps with close bench, being rack-able really helps. I have also done skullcrushers with it and put it on top of my rack and did pullups with it. I highly recommend it! Angled swiss bar April 28, 2014 Reviewer: Roy from TX United States   I bought it to take the stress off my shoulders while doing bench press, and so far it does what it advertised. I also use it for curls. Both movements hurt either my shoulder or forearm - are accomplished without pain with this bar. It is well made, it should last me forever. Was this review helpful to you?

Just tried out the football bar yesterday and I really like it. It took a lot of stress off my shoulder. And I found that it's easier for me to do floor press. Excellent Value for Money February 10, 2014 Reviewer: John S. from Briarcliff Manor, NY United States   This bar offers excellent value for the money. Yes, it is made of heavy pipe, not solid steel, but it will hold plenty of weight safely. A robust, well-made piece of equipment you will be proud to own. The finish is a sturdy powder coating that takes a lot of abuse. The welding is nicely done. The grips are a bit fatter than normal Olympic bars, 1.32" diameter vs. 1.1" which I like, as it is more comfortable in my average sized hands. It has plenty of plate loading area. The angled grips allow me to bench press wide, medium or narrow grip with zero shoulder pain, unlike a straight bar. I also have a parallel grip bar much like this one, which allows for pain free bench pressing. I alternate between the two bars for variety and to prevent staleness. Make sure to heed the warning that this bar, with plate loading ends of only about 1.9" diameter, won't accept most collars. I don't use any, but they sell collars or you can use spring clamps from Home Depot for about $1.50 each. Was this review helpful to you?
