The safeties for my Rogue ML were not up to snuff with BWTG Instagram teasers. Despite providing precise measurements to BWTG, there's a lot of space between the safeties/rack at the end w/ the long post. Also, some of the welds are incomplete & of questionable quality. Hopefully, these issues do not compromise safety.
Another issue is the UHMW (which costs extra). On both safeties, the screws used to attach it are at seemingly random points. They are neither equidistant from each other nor are they centered. On one, the UHMW is so crooked that it’s partially hanging off & there are a plethora of shavings jutting from underneath. There are also burr marks (?) on both the UHMW & the steel. All of this is purely cosmetic, but considering the huge price premium on the safeties, I expected far better QC.
Overall, I'm disappointed. The safeties are ok, but far, far below my expectations. I may give BTWG another chance down the road, but at this point I'm not sure.
